Frequently Asked Questions

It’s $45 for a 60-minute session. Some clients want a longer session, so I offer 90-minute sessions for $67.50.

That is up to you. Some clients train 3 times a week, and some clients train once a week. You can do more or less based on your goals and schedule.

No. Clients do not have to sign a contract, and clients do not have to commit to a certain amount of sessions. It's pay as you go, so you can pay each week or each month. You can pay for just one session to see if we're a fit.

Venmo is the preferred payment method. I will also accept checks and cash.

Yes. I will come to your home to do an assessment. It's not a workout. I will take you through the PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire). I will do an assessment of your range of motion, flexibility, and fitness level. I will ask questions to understand your goals. After the assessment, if you want to sign up for a training session, we can schedule the first one.

I have dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, stability balls, a bench, yoga mat, yoga blocks, foam roller, and other equipment.

Yes. I have experience training seniors. I work with them on balance, fall prevention, range of motion, flexibility, and improving strength.

I do not. The business is registered only with the City of Bridgeport, so I do not train clients outside of Bridgeport.

I grew up in Bridgeport, WV. I lived in North Carolina and Tennessee before moving to Massachusetts. While in Massachusetts, I joined a gym and had a personal trainer. He introduced me to powerlifting—squat, bench press, and deadlift. Training with him and learning these movements improved not only my physical strength but my self-image and confidence. A few years later, I left my job to manage this gym. I had become invested in the many benefits of fitness, and I wanted to create a gym environment where everyone felt welcome, regardless of their fitness level. I became a certified personal trainer with NASM to train members. It was rewarding to see members feel better about their bodies and their fitness abilities. I taught a free weights class so that members could learn the proper, safe form for dumbbells and kettlebells. I moved back to Bridgeport in May 2024 to help my mother take care of my father. I created Bridgeport In-Home Fitness so that I could work for myself, spend time doing something I love, and maintain a flexible schedule so that I can give back to my parents.
